Baye is a small village in the heart of the Champagne Ardenne with vineyards surrounding the village. Baye is known for its 11th century church and abbey. Surrounding this beautiful peaceful village, there are exceptional sites to visit and many leisure activities (cycling, horse riding, hiking, golf, fishing ..). Do not forget the local crafts and of course the vineyards.
We ask for the attention of our guests to the fact that due to "Le Petit Chateau" it's concept, the house is not suitable for children under 14 or for people with reduced mobility.
We are passionate about food and hospitality. Kris is a chef in heart and soul and Annemieke fully focussed on hospitality. Kris founded and managed several restaurants between 1993 and 2017 (Klare wijn, Cuistot, Degustation..), which received high recognitions in well-known guides such as Gault Millau and Michelin Benelux. In 2008, during the Olympic Games in Beijing, Kris and Frank Fol were responsible for the healthy meals for Belgian athletes.
Since the beginning of 2017, we have been managing and catering events and (wedding) celebrations at a Château in Champagne Ardenne. In 2020, we found the ideal location to realize our dream: establishing our own Chambre d'hotes... “Le Petit Château” an old residence from 1900
Le Petit Château has a beautiful dining room with fireplace, a living room, a library and a shop with local products. We have a large terrace where you can have something to eat or drink and relax.
Kris only uses local and fresh products and of course we have our local champagnes for you to taste and enjoy.
